When Life Feels Heavy: Choosing My Son, My Calling, and My Healing

Lately, I’ve been carrying a weight that feels heavier than usual. Not the kind of weight you can measure in pounds, but the kind that lives in your chest, in your thoughts, in the quiet spaces of the day.

I refuse to leave my son just to make money. That choice is clear in my heart. But the “how” of it all—how to build a life that honors both motherhood and my calling—has been the question that lingers.

I’ve worked hard for my licenses and certifications: Massage Therapy, Esthetics, Holistic Health Practitioner, and the additional trainings I’ve poured myself into. I know there’s power in them. They aren’t just papers or titles; they’re proof of years of work, resilience, and vision.

And yet… I have many ideas. Too many, maybe. Courses, books, products, communities, wellness offerings—all swirling in my mind like puzzle pieces. The truth? I also have many unfinished projects. It sometimes makes me wonder: Am I unfocused? Am I procrastinating? Am I ADHD?

Maybe it’s not about labels. Maybe it’s about being a mother with a big vision and a bigger heart, trying to hold everything at once. Maybe it’s about learning to finish one step before starting the next.

What I do know is this: I want to be home. I want to use what I’ve earned and what I know to create income online. I want to build something sustainable, not just for me, but for my son—to show him that abundance can flow when we honor both our family and our purpose.

So today, I’m choosing not to spiral about the unfinished, the overwhelming, or the doubts. Today, I’m reminding myself that clarity comes through action, that consistency builds trust, and that the dream isn’t too big—it just needs to be structured.

✨ To the mamas, the creators, the healers, the visionaries: you’re not alone when life feels heavy. You don’t have to choose between your child and your calling. The challenge is in weaving them together—slowly, imperfectly, but with love and persistence.

Let’s Talk 💬

What helps you stay grounded when life feels heavy?

If you had to choose one project to finish first, what would it be?
